Match 09- Vs Glasgow GC - On Thursday 30th May

Result - Match 08 Vs New Club St Andrews - Friday 24th May

Although it was fairly  windy, conditions otherwise were good  and the team did extremely well to gain the upper hand to  achieve a very rare away win and a  5 - 3 advantage over the first leg of the match for the Bali Dodo Trophy.

Thanks to Lee Bushby for his sterling work as Captain for the day.

Result - Match 07 - Vs Panmure GC - Thursday 23rd May

Despite extremely bitterly cold  and windy conditions the team ably led by captain Robin Mitchell achieved a magnificent  5 - 3 win at Panmure. Congratulations to all concerned as it is a very difficult venue to get such a good result.

Thanks again Robin for acting as Captain of the day and also to David Dawson for standing in as reserve so late in the day.

Result - Match 06 - Vs Ladybank on Tuesday 21st May

In a hard fought match we managed a halved match against the usual very competitive Ladybank seniors.

This was a good result for us as in previous years we have invariably been on the losing side.

Fingers crossed for the return match.

Many thanks to Captain of the day  - Fergus Young for his valiant efforts.

Result - Match 05 Vs Dalhousie on Thursday 9th May

This very close and tight match ended in   yet another draw  3 1/2 -  3 1/2.

Thiis will be a very difficult result to carry forward to Carnoustie for the return match  later in the year when it is played over the Championship course.

The catering was as usual of a very high standard, and thanks go to Mike Beale who was Captain for  the day.

Result - Match 04 - Vs Glenbervie on Tuesday 7th May

On a beautiful sunny day the two teams played for the Blairbervie Trophy.

The result was a halved match 4 - 4 and as the holders are Glenbervie, they retain the trophy for another year.

Both teams enjoyed a great day's golf  ending with an excellent meal in the dining room.

Thanks to David Rice for his first class work as Captain for the day.
