Match 12 Royal Burgess (Away)

Your Captain for this match is Graham Clark.We will meet at the Royal Burgess Clubhouse at 9.15 am for coffee and the first match is scheduled to tee off at 10 am with lunch being provided afterwards. Traffic may be heavy at the FRB so please bear this in mind. I also understand that work is being carried out at the clubhouse and 'access is from the far end of the car park'. I'm not certain what that means but I'm assured all will be made clear!

I am delighted to advise that part of the extensive clubhouse alterations are complete.
However, players will not be able to access the clubhouse from either the side or the front, instead they should park at the far end of the car park, and enter the course on the path by “Balanced” physiotherapy.
Coffee and bacon rolls will be available in the dining room from 09.15, and lunch will also be served there. However, after play drinks will be served in the upstairs bar.
We are all looking forward to welcoming you to The Burgess.

Match 11 Gullane (Away)
Your Captain for this match is Fergus Young
Meet Bus at 09.30am at Blairgowrie GC - Then at Perth Broxden Park & Ride at 10.00am
Sandwich Lunch - Then 1st tee-off at 1.30pm on courses No 1 and No 2.
We are playing for The ALEC MASON PLAQUE which is currently held by Blairgowrie - in fact the results we have only go back to 1974 and the score to date is Gullane 30, Blairgowrie 9, with 3 matches drawn.
Last year's away result was a win to Blairgowrie 51/2 -2 1/2 so a similar result to that would be excellent to have a chance for our home match on 18th July.

Please assemble at Blairgowrie Clubhouse at 11:45 for refreshments and a Sandwich lunch. First Tee-off at 1.00pm. There will be a meal after the Game.
This match has been going since 1986 and the results do not make good reading - Blairgowrie 9 - Elie -19 with 2 draws – however we have won over the last 4 years – so hopefully that good run continues this year....
We now play for "The Henderson Salver" - we won it last year and it would be good to retain it.

It is recommended that you park at The Links Clubhouse and walk back to the New Club enter via the front door.
Your Captain for the day is Colin Blues
We are playing for THE BALI DODO TROPHY which since the fixture started in 2000 has been played for 16 times and we have only won the trophy three times - Last year we managed a 6 – 2 win Away and although we lost at Home we actually won the trophy. So it would be nice to hold the trophy and a good away win would he a good start.
