Please meet at the clubhouse at 11:45am for refreshments and sandwich lunch ready for first tee off at 1:00pm.

Match 19 - Pollock (Away) - Result

The course was in excellent condition, the weather held up and was dry for most of the day. Hospitallity as always, was first class G&Ts flowed and the meal excellent.  A most enjoyable day.

Match 12 - Royal Burgess AWAY, Rescheduled from 6th June

Original match on 6th June was cancelled due to heavy rain and flooding, 

now re-scheduled for 31st July.
Your captain for this Away match is none other than Mr Ian Dunbar.

Please assemble at Royal Burgess Golf Club at 09:15am (Allow for possible congestion on the Forth Bridge). There will be Coffee & Bacon Roll on arrival.  Tee off at 10:00am.

Unfortunately Bill Farquharson the original Captain for this match, has had to call off and Len Hendry has very kindly agreed to act as Captain for the day.


Please meet the bus at one of the two pick up points as follows:
 
1.  Blairgowrie GC Clubhouse at 10.00am 

2.  Park & Ride at Broxden Perth at 10.30am

Please let Ian McPherson know which one you will be at.

We are expected at Pollok GC for coffee and bacon roll at 12 Noon.

Match 17 - Gullane (Home)

 Your Captain for this Home match against Gullane is 
the legendary Fergus Young

This match has been going on since 1963 but no records kept until 1974, but since then they do not make good reading - Blairgowrie 9  - Gullane  31 and 3 draws – However after our away match although down 5 to 3 we are still are in with a shout so still a great deal  to play for.  We are playing for the ALEC MASON PLAQUE which is currently held by Gullane- so hopefully we can  regain  the trophy !!!
